Tony is in need of immediate Foster care or a Permanent home. Tony is a purebred Persian and is a high maintenance cat. He requires thorough daily coming, and a bath every now and then. He will need his eyes wiped daily, maybe multiple times a day, his flat face makes his eyes run the typical red Persian goop. He will need his rear area trimmed, to prevent feces catching in the long hair. He also has a monthly flare up of a skin condition and a respiratory problem that will require antibiotics once a month. This runs around $20.00-$25.00 a bottle. He is also on a special prescription diet. So we prefer someone who knows the breed, or understands what they will be getting into. After all of that: Tony is a very well mannered loving companion that deserves some good in his life. He is the BIGGEST sweetie! He has been treated well, but lives at the veterinary clinic as a office cat. He can no longer stay there, and needs to be out ASAP. Tony is a cat that needs to be in a home, he wants a couch, or a loving lap, NOT a cold counter. He needs a loving face to see day after day, not to worry if today is the day someone brings an unleashed dog into the office.....He would need to be an only pet, or with cats that are very laid back and not be overly aggressive to him. No dogs, unless they are VERY cat friendly. Poor Tony has had bad luck with dogs.... Tony is front declawed, Neutered and is UTD on all vaccinations.
