Would you like to see this dog in person? We will be at Pamida in Madison, SD on August 22nd from 10am-1pm. Foster parents will be there to answer any questions you may have. On the spot adoptions are NOT allowed but you can complete an application for adoption at the event. See you at Pamida!Roo is an adorable 5 month old, 3 1/2 pound long haired chihuahua. Roo is a tiny little dog and needs a home without young children due to his size. He is very sweet, playful and snuggly! Roo is neutered, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and had a dental cleaning. His adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA. Important things to know before you contact us:If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.The email address you're using is managed by one or two people. Please be patient.The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets. We do not ship our dogs. Thank you for wanting to adopt a homeless dog or cat!
