Meet sensational Sarah, this little sweetheart just hasn't been able to catch a break since she was a pup! Saved from animal control when she was just a small puppy was only the beginning. Happily a family decided to adopt Sarah and Sioux Empire Pit Rescue thought she had found her perfect forever home. Sadly, however, her family didn't think clearly through all the important responsibilities that come along with owning a bully breed and have now returned her due to no fault of her own! This fabulous 2 year old is just starting to come into her own and is patiently awaiting the perfect family that will never discard her again like trash. Sarah is a little love bug that would never pass up a chance to cuddle up on a couch or bed. She is already house trained and crate trained and has been well socialized around small children. She might have been used previously as a mobile playground which didn't upset her in the least. Sarah listens well to her foster family and is easily redirected from any wanted actions in her new household. She does know some basic commands sit, lay, and no - Sarah will quickly pick up more if given the one on one time to teach her. Her foster parents are also working and walking nicely on a leash and excitability when meeting new people and jumping up. Agility training would be a great past time for her as she is very in tune with following direction and leadership. Sarah is currently being fostered with many other dogs that she gets along splendidly with. Her foster home also has a cats and other outside farm animals that Sarah does pay attention to. She has been very gentle with the cat but would need to be watched in a cat friendly home as she is still very curious about the whole scenario. She does seems to have a higher prey drive with the other outside chickens/turkeys. Sarah sleeps in her kennel at night but would love a home that would her allow her to be the master of the bedroom. She also loves to play with squeaky toys, stuffed animals, and also adores her chew bones. Sarah enjoys going on car rides and trips with her foster family. Sarah will need a home with at least a 6ft fenced in backyard or an owner that will walk her to potty however, beacause no one has told her she isn't Michael Jordan. She can clear an eight foot fence with out any difficulties. It would be heart breaking to see this little girl get out of a yard and stolen or worse yet hit by a car. Sarah ' s perfect home would have children that would spoil her rotten. Parents that understand the responsibility of owning this beautiful little girl and are willing to put in the next 10 to 12 years of their lives devoting themselves to her. She would be great in an active setting or just lounging around a loft in a city. Sarah is small and flexible and would make a perfect fit for just about any lifestyle. We know this time when a family steps up to make a commitment it will be love at first site. Please come meet Sarah as this little doll should not be left homeless again. Local adoptions preferred.
